Mendoza, Argentina

My plans for Mendoza was to come here so that I could climb or at least attempt to climb Aconcagua, S. America's highest peak. Unfortunately for me the park doesn't open up for another 3 weeks and I don't really want to sit around and wait for that long. Mendoza must be the wine capital of the world cause there are wineries everywhere. I decided to not spend too much time here and move on into Chile and the 6 hour bus ride between Argentina and Chile was probably one of the most beautiful roads I have ever seen in my life. It was disappointing to pass by the peak of Aconcagua and know that this go round I am not going to get a chance to climb it! It is going on my list of things to do post this big trip.

Hey welocome to your 30's. I have been checking up on you and it looks like a trip of a life time. Sorry for not sending you anything sooner. I kept saying I'll do it next time and now look how long its been. It kind of resembles life at times doesnt it.

I saw the house made of salt and all I could think of was a big giant margarita and a recliner right next to the wall. Give me a cathater and I'd be good to go for days.

You look leaner than when you left. Sounds like your living a good healthy life.

The 20k foot peak is impressive. That was a tough journey.

Let me know what else is going on.

On the side of the equator Jill and I are having twins. Isn't that crazy. I've got my job dialed into 40 hours a week at its busiest and take advantage of every minute I can with Connor. It realy is pure, true enjoyment. He will be two in a couple of weeks and now he runs, swims, jumps, talks and laughs all of the time. Soon there will be 3 of them and I will have to streamline this job to 32 hours to take advantage of it.

Lets face it, life is not behind a desk or cell phone. Its right in front of you. Sorry for the philysophical ramble.

Let me know what else is up. How long are you going to be traveling? My suggestion is stay out as long as you can. Were not going anywhere.

Do you hear thoughts about the people running for president within the people your around? I'm curious to what their opinions are.

I'm gonna let you go. Stay safe and dont let yourself get a black tounge. Later dude

The pictures are great. I am glad I don't have to put all those pictures into albums......what a great experience. Nothing new here. We went to a birthday party for a friend last night. It was suppose to be a surprise 60bd but it was hard to surprise her with all the cars at the community center. Your Dad had a quite birthday this year. We went to eat with your GM and he had class that night so we didn't do anything special. I got him his usual oatmeal cookies......Kim cracked her kneecap about two weeks ago so she had to have a mri and we are waiting on that. Clay was on reserve all this past weekend. He may be going to Jamaica in January for six months. If he does I think Mandy and the Cadee can go with him...not sure what we will do without her. She came and went trick or treating at the Community Center Friday she was a black cat instead of meow she growled. She is kind of small like Clay was. I talked to Kaeleah last night and I think she may come and spend the summer with her Grandma and Papa this summer. Her mother said she was "talking back to her." We had a talk about that. I think her mom needs a break. So that will be fun. I am working extra this week. A friend of mine is going to come to the clinic and be the Medical Director. I am going to work with her this for a couple hours this evening so she is free to learn the computer system. It is cumbersome...we move to a new clinic next April with a great system. Nothing else knew. Be glad when the election rhetoric is over. I voted early to get it over with. Praying for a change..........have fun stay safe send pictures from the end of South America........love ya LMC
