Santa Cruz Trek, Hurraz Peru

WOW! I LOVE LIFE

This whole area is known as Cordilla Blanca. Here there are the largest peaks in Peru and this has been my favorite thing I have done in Peru so far. On September 17th I am getting my 2nd visitor of my trip. I have to say she might be my favorite person in the whole WORLD!!!!!!! MOM! For the next 2.5 weeks I am going to be in overdrive trying to see the entire country with her. I am probably going to need a vacation after she leaves because I know her, and now it´s time for POWER TRAVELING!..............

Hey Luke, Great pictures. I am so glad things are going so great on your trip. I am so excited that you are in Peru now, I feel like we have an additional thing in common. I hope you love the southern part of Peru as much as I did. The Sacred Valley, Macchu Pichu, and Cuzco are so amazing! Also, you will not want miss the amazon rain forest - it is breathtaking. I definitely recommend that you skip the Nazca Lines if that comes up for discussion, it was something we regreted doing, very touristy, and not the nice tourists, and the lines aren't as exciting as you might think. If you are interested in meeting a great guide down there I believe I still have our guide's info, he was great! Take care! Desiree

Hey Lucas!!! Glad to see you are doing wonderfully on your world adventure! I miss you a bunch dude. Our adventures aren't the same without your rambunctious ass around, but I make do! Can't wait to check in on you again soon. Longs Peak kicked my but, I didn't realize I would be climbing a mountain Sylvester Stallone style when I signed up! K, peace out homey, don't piss the police off!

I am very glad to see you doing well. Take heart in the fact that you won't be enduring the poitical season here in the states. Me, and most everyone else, are already sick of it while you're campaigning for a world tour. Love it. Later buddy.

You guys have a great time for the next two and a half weeks. Keep in touch with me, and take care of each other. By the way 148 down and 316 to go.
