Starting early, I set out on my path, but unfortunately, I had to walk 14 miles before stumbling upon a place to have breakfast. I was on the verge of a meltdown, but somehow, I managed to push through and survive the ordeal.
What truly surprises me is the presence of all these old fountains scattered along the way. There are so many that all I have been filling is a single 16 ounce bottle. To my amazement, I haven't encountered any issues so far. Even more, the water from these fountains tastes absolutely incredible.
Along the way, I often find myself chuckling at the sight of vending machines, each one seemingly placed strategically. One in particular, situated outside a pharmacy, proved to be quite convenient.
I can't help but be constantly amazed by the Spanish culture. It's intriguing how the locals spend most of their days indoors, only to burst out into vibrant celebrations come nightfall. Even the children partake in this lively tradition. Although this makes it fairly easy to get photos of the sites, I feel that my interactions with the locals have been limited thus far. After a full day of walking with 30+ lbs, I’m lucky to make it past 9pm.

I just noticed this. Updating my blog from a phone is challenging. 😢
Nice to see that you’re really enjoying yourself! And Wow! A red wine fountain?! So interesting how the culture is so different. -TT
